This is a continuation of the 4 images in 15 minutes post and were taken a 10 minute hike away. It is really the same composition shot low to put the tree in the sky with a minimum of foreground, a different tree as subject and lots of sky. All taken with the same 16-35 lens. It was very windy and I took all of images at 100 ISO and 320 ISO for a faster shutter speed to freeze movement in the branches but didn't need to use any of the faster ones. Ken

This is the same composition as this one but with far less dynamic conditions, the tree hasn't changed much in the 11yr between shots, I prefer the bare trees so will think about another winter visit when I get big clouds and sunshine and showers.

Same tree just backed up a bit

Only a few minutes later and the sky has changed a lot

In the end my photography lasted for 70 minutes first image to last and I am unlikely to work this fast again. Ken

The shots look different enough that they could have been taken on entirely different days. Fun contrasts and some nice B&W work.

Hey Ken,

That's my normal working speed. So it's interesting that you aren't going to try it anymore. Your slower more methodical approach probably yields more consistent results then this fast paced mode though.

My favorite is #5. With #2 being a close second, followed by #1.

The angle in #1 and 2 is my favorite as the rocks are more consistently laid out and show more depth.
