I captured the moon a couple of nights ago. This was with video on my Nikon D850 and the Tamron 150-600mm @600mm. It stacked about 450 frames to make this. I hope the brightness is better then my last one.

Stacked in Autostakkert.

I am hoping I can get out and capture it either rising or setting when it's closer to 100%.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Like the overall exposure but I also see what Alan is referring to - looks like the small details have some extra sharpening while the larger details look a little smeared out. Might just not have had the same seeing I expect.

Hey Mike, I don't know if it was seeing or operator error. :)

I had noticed that too, but I didn't want to sharpen it more as to get it looking over sharpened.

Maybe I will go back and use the 25% stack out of Autostakkert instead of the 50% stack and see if I can get some sharper detail there.
