A foggy sunrise

The window of my bedroom looks north. Normally have a view of the valley below and see the lights. Today it was just heavy fog. Then some light started showing up near the horizon. Its been a while since the mornings were anything but grey. Had to dust off the drone and launch. It reported low visibility and I had to set it to sports mode to take it above its restricted altitude.

Mt Baker can be seen in the distance.

Nice colors above the fog. I like the view with distant Mt. Baker. Any view to Rainier?

I haven't seen any hints of colors above the morning fog we have been getting down here but it's often hard to tell.

I don't get much fog where I am at and where I can also launch my drone, but that would be a really cool atmosphere to capture with a drone.

Thanks. The misty look is there most days around here. The color on the other hand is hard to come by.

Thanks Alan. We are at an elevation of around 450ft. The drone was above 300' from here. The visibility at the ground level due to the fog was around 200 ft or so.
