A Golden End

A couple of weeks ago we had an amazing sunrise color show you have seen several images of from both Jameel and myself. This is a shot from the tail end of that nice sunrise display when the colors were headed into the golden hues that mark the tail end of the show. This is 3 panels shot at 70mm.

Sometimes I like these colors better than the nuclear colors of earlier in the sunrise. The gold has such a soft quality to it, almost like it's a painting.

Good one and glad your battery lasted throughout this sunrise. It must have went on for a while.

Thanks Jim - according to my log files the flight lasted for 28 minutes and I landed with 12% battery left about 3 minutes after taking this pano sequence.

Thanks - that was a jaw dropping sunrise. We only get cloud color shows like that a few times per year.
