A Place and Time I'd Rather Be

I am not a huge fan of summer when the heat kicks in and after hitting just over 100º yesterday I found myself wishing it was a cool and rainy fall day down in the forests of the Oregon coast range. Unfortunately we are going to get another day with similar temperatures today before ocean breezes chase the heat away.

Thanks Monika - fortunately for us the heat wave moves out tonight and we will be in the high 70's by Thursday

I grew up with summer heat down in the Arizona deserts but that's the reason I haven't lived down there since the late 1960's.

Thanks Jim - I am definitely ready for the cool down. It's 101ºF outside right now which is crazy for this area. Thank heaven for having good AC - my office is 76º.
