If you like wandering around in open woodland areas the coast range in Oregon might not be your best destination. A trailside scene in the Siuslaw National Forest from late October.

Looks like you have mapped out the entire Siuslaw area. Typical PNW woods, fun to wander around in these areas.

Thanks Jim - you definitely need waterproof boots and rain gear during the wet seasons. There was a light rain falling when I shot this.

Thanks Beth - I often show up to wander this trail early enough for it to be dark so I can shoot the waterfalls along it without direct light so I am usually carrying both headlamps and flashlights
