American Basin Marmot

I am back to looking through last years photos, and I am in my American Basin images. American Basin is located in SW Colorado, at close to 12,000 feet high. Besides the beauty there, I like to use it to acclimate to high altitude. Last year I took my oldest granddaughter with me, and she had a blast there.

Cool catch, I used to think all the rodents are rats, now I learned there are ground squirrls, voles, rats, mice, marmots...
