An Old Anchor

This old anchor was pulled up from an old boat the sunk off the coast of Southern California and left in a small park on the beach. I found it quite interesting.

You could almost pass this scene off as Florida or the Caribbean. Nice one.

I don't think I have stumbled across that one. It looks like the anchor is about 90% rust! Good find Larry.

Thanks Alan for your comments, appreciated! I was surprised to find this anchor on a beach between Santa Monica and Malibu. I guess there used to be a port in that area in years past!

Hi Jim I guess I stumbled across this when I stopped at a beach between Santa Monica and Malibu to make a pit stop. Don't remember the name of the beach but love the palm tree and the anchor!
