As I am going through over 10,000 images from the Solar Eclipse of 2024 that I went to go see in Texas, there was an incredible amount of issues. It was just a comedy of errors with every camera imaging it. I am slogging through assembling images from all of them into a cohesive timelapse video. But in the mean time I decided to go process another image from the Seestar S50 Smart Telescope.
The Seestar had the best images of the Solar Eclipse, it's issue was something in it's programming where as it assembled the timelapse video as I imaged it, every 3rd or 4th frame was not lined up with the rest, and about every 10 images or so the exposure would go crazy and instead of the surrounding clouds being black, it turned them red. Now as I was viewing it's capture of the eclipse in real time, it wasn't displaying any of those issues to me, the capture looked perfect. So something is wrong in their internal programming where they stack each image into the timelapse video that is a bit wonkers.
But with that said, it's images which I pulled out of the video are the best I have.
So here is one with a crop.

PS. And back to the Digital Darkroom for me as I want to get that first timelapse out in the next day.
