Excellent focus and bokeh, Tom. I noticed that this is the same wood on which you photographed your gamble's quail. Do you have your back yard set up to attract birds? I have a friend who lives in Sedona who has lots of feeders and props in his back yard where they can land. I have photographed as many as twenty-three different species of birds in his yard in one morning shoot.

Hi Douglas...

Yes, I've got an area adjacent to my house with a few feeders and some local plants, etc. It makes photographing the birds that stop by a lot simpler than trudging through the desert in 100-degree heat. I also live in an area that is next to a land preserve, so in cooler weather, I just cross the street and take some hikes with my camera and a monopod.
