Arrived in Vienna

I have missed a few days but this mornings images are so easy to process I will post them. This is Klosterneuburg Monastry about 5 miles North of Vienna. Spectacularly large and the exterior is beautiful but I find the interior too ornate YMMV. Off to central Vienna this afternoon. Ken

This image shows the church which is only a very small part of the Monastry but I couldn't get far enough away to photograph the entire thing. Cheap phone shots only, I have camera shots but I didn't bring a laptop so have no way of posting them.

I see your point with the interior - almost sensory overload trying to take in all the ornate details. Quite the contrast to the exterior.

You have been missed the last few days Ken, so it's great that you could post these. The iphone did a great job of capturing these.

The architecture is so amazing, buildings like this just are not built like this anymore. Love the spires in #1. And on the inside it's amazing just how much detail they can cram into one building.
