Something amazing about the simple beauty of coffee beans
Did you know coffee beans are actually the pits of cherry like berry that grows on bushes, and all coffee is grown within 1,000 miles of the equator. These were shot and processed with a Fuji Portra 400 emulation

Nice close-ups of the roasted beans.

I roast my own beans so am quite familiar with the details and like to blend my green beans using both African origin and Central America origin. The beans above would be considered a City Roast that was pulled from the roaster after what is called First Crack :)

Lots of info on coffee beans can be had at the Sweet Maria's web site where I get my green beans.

Very cool Dave. I like #2 the best. I think a solid color for a background would have worked best in #1.

Coffee is pretty yucky. To this day I can't understand why people drink it. :)
