Bears of Yellowstone 2024 Raspberry and Snow

the Grizzly bears are making good appearance in Yellowstone - with my new 200-800 rf I don't feel I need to be on top of the to get the shots - the top 2 are of Raspberry and her new from this year - the bottom 2 are Snow her 9 year old daughter and her 2 year old cubs

The shots of Raspberry and her cub are terminally cute - nice captures. How long do cubs hang out with Mom(TM)? Nine years seems like a pretty long time.

the Grizzly usually hang around for 3 years - they don't have cubs until they are 5-7 yrs old Raspberry is 17 and this is her 3 family - this is Snow's first family - Snow was Raspberry's first cub

Very nicely done Marcy! What a treat. One of these years I need to get up to Yellowstone in the early summer and catch those grizzlies.

In the first 2 photos, I think the WB is off just a hair, they look to have a magenta cast.
