Bee and the Butterfly

I don't know what type of butterfly this was, but it was busy getting some nectar and wasn't bothered by me of the bees also on the plant. The small bee above the butterfly seems to be about to attach, although I don't think it did.

Good shot. At a guess, I'd say it was an Orange Sulphurs, Colias eurytheme, which are part of a group known as Clouded Yellows which encompasses yellow butterflies of different species.

Thanks Jim, that small bee came into the frame after I was already focused on the butterfly. I guess I should thank him!

Hi Alan: I didn't notice the other bees on the plant until I look at the image on my computer. Since they were out of focus I left them in the shadows.
