Lots of contrasts between the to comps here. Nice set.

I like the whimsical approach to the first comp - lots of nice color contrasts and the leaf strewn bridge deck leading into the color show scene. Nice combination with the sun burst.

The second one has a more laid back mood to it with the low angle sun and tasty colors along the far shore.

Joe,
Both of these are really nice. My favorite of the 2 is the first.. I really like the low angle perspective and how the leaves on the bridge deck play into the comp. Regards Dean

I have tried for 5 minutes to pick my favorite of the 2 - it keeps ending up being whichever one I am looking at! ;)

The colors and composition of these is exceptional. I sometimes feel like sunstars are an overdone thing, but the one in image #1 definitely works for me. The low down perspective on that image really makes it work well too.

The second shot is so exquisitely exposed and composed that I feel like I could just take about 10 steps and take a load off on the bench for a few minutes and enjoy the light and color show. A super small niggle for me on the 2nd is that the far right tree trunk seems a little jammed up against the edge of the frame. If you have any other wider FOV treatments of this scene it might be fun to compare them to this. But a SUPER small point that really does not detract from such a masterful image! Really a wonderful set!!!

Excellent shots. #1 for me - the unusual perspective really makes it for me, but I also like the variety of color, esp. the red leaves on the bridge (red was what we missed on our trip to VT last week). Of course having it tack sharp throughout helps too.

Hey Joe, wow! Great work on both of these. I sure like your creativity in both of them.
Congrats on the Daily Featured Post Joe!

I agree with Mike - both of them are my favorite. The color and light are sweet.

At first I really liked the second one, but the more I look, the more I like #1! Both really nice images, but I agree with Mike on #2. If there was a little more image to the right of the tree, it would be even better.
