Big Drop

Big Drop is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC. This is another from the tree sap work I was able to create. I really liked the sunstars, reflections, and refractions.

This is super cool! That’s an amazing drop, and as opposed to a drop of water where you might need high speed synced flashes, you probably have plenty of time to shoot this drop.

That is an amazing droplet of sap - not sure I have seen one so big. I like the reflections and clarity of the drop.

Yes, no problems with using plenty of shutter time - 2 whole seconds in fact.
