Breaking Clouds on Rocky Mountain NP

We were staying in a cabin in Estes Park and it was raining in the morning. It was in July so we decided to drive up Trailridge Road and see if anything would break. About half was up the road we broke through the lower cloud and were rewarded with beautiful sunny light and cloud above us and below us. We could not have ask for anything better!!!

That's the advantage of Trail Ridge Road it really gets you high up. Sounds like a fun day!

Thanks Jim it was a really fun day! Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous road in the US, at least that is what they claim at the ranger station at RMNP.
