They are both awesome views, but I think I prefer the second one with the more dramatic rain clouds!

Super cool Jim! These are both really awesome images that the B&W really helps bring out the storm in them.

I edited your post to add some more space between the images as for me at least, they ran into each other, and I needed more visual space to see where one ended and one began.

I am thinking while both are awesome, #2 is my pick.

#2 for me as well, though both are stunning. And I like that Jim Fox put space between your shots. Maybe consider a white border next time?

JIM , these are splendid shots, the B&W conveyed the mood very well, I love both photos.
