Chickadee Bathing Beauties

I've really been enjoying watching the chickadees bathing in my new little fountain on these hot days. Glad I can help them out, and they provide me a smile. Today I set my camera on a tripod close to the fountain and using the remote control app on my A7rII/iPhone I could shoot when they were there while I worked at the computer (which has a good view of the backyard). I didn't realize you have to go into the apps menu to select RAW shooting, so these were jpgs.

Hey Jim,

Pretty good work here, and how cool that you were able to set it up and then control the camera remotely through the iPhone. I am pretty sure I can do the same thing with my D850 but I haven't messed with it yet. Now if I had some chickadees in the backyard I just might do it.

These are fun.

My 5D Mk IV can do this but I have never played with it since I didn't think I had a use for the feature. Until now. Thnx for the idea.
