Thanks Jameel for the comments on this image, they are very much appreciated.The gold may be gone but the grove with snow still provides a nice view and the monochrome looks nice.
Thanks Jim, glad you like it. Back in my camera club days we called this the dead time of year and not good for photography. I never really believed that and have found lots to shoot during the 'dead time'!Love it Larry! I really like you working the bare trees. Sometimes people equate bare trees with boring in the winter time. I am glad you didn't.

I have seen lots of dense aspen stands, but nothing like this group they are so uniform and straight that they almost look as if they had been planted!That sure is a dense stand of aspen - this version of the scene makes that more obvious than the first one since we aren't distracted by the leaves.
