Going through some old files and found this image of a Mountain Goat on Mt Evans about 40 miles west of Denver.

Thanks Alan, actually she was perched on the wall of a burnt out building and she did not seem to be bothered by human contact. She posed there for a few minutes, then hopped of the wall bounded up a large boulder field! I did not attempt to follow her.

Thanks Jim for the comments, appreciated. She watched me for a while then bounded off to a large timberline boulder field, needless to say I did not try follow her, I might have in my younger days!
