David Winter cottages

These are some of the many miniature collectibles created by David Winter, an English sculptor. I don't believe they are being made any longer. They have been Christmas gifts from my wife for a number of years.....a wide variety of designs, all with remarkable detail. Typically 3 to 5 inches tall.

That's so cool. I like the detail in them. Great job capturing them.

I have been putting up a Christmas display with miniatures and a running train each Christmas. So I have a think for miniatures, I am sure the ones I have don't have half the detail of these.

Thanks for the comments. I think of the detail as 'inner detail" that makes these so interesting. Bricks.....shingles.....surfaces have realistic texture and color.
