Neither, actually. But Jim's post with the doors of Taos made me think of this shot. It's an airport gate in Fiji. Kadavu airport to be exact. P&S travel pic.

Wow - after all we are used to seeing in urban airports this is a real throwback. I would almost be expecting a biplane out on the tarmac with this as my gate.

Thanks, guys. When I read about this airport (more like glorified airstrip), the book noted that it was "possible" to walk across the island at this point. I imagined that it was a bit of a trek. More like a 5 minute stroll from the landing strip to the beach on the opposite side of the island!
