Double Arch

That's some really nice work with film Larry. The Double Arch is a fun one. And unless Alan corrects me, I don't see any people out by the arch. That's unheard of these days.

No corrections from me - either some nice p=shop work or a rare day without intrusive fellow h. saps. in the scene. Nice work with the light in a pretty wide dynamic range. Nice camera - I had a Rollieflex TLR back in the day.

Hi Jim, this image was taken in 1978 and there weren't as many people as you find there today. We even have an image of Delicate Arch with no people hogging the space down and around the arch. Things have changed in the intervening year! :( I just had this scan done at a local outfit and am really pleased with the results. I think I will get the Rollie out of mothballs and do some shooting with it this spring and summer! ;)

Hi Alan, no cloning out people from this image back in 1978 there just weren't as many people in the Park in the spring, we even got Delicate Arch with no people hogging the space leading up to Delicate Arch! I was one of our high school photographers using a Rolliecord TLR way back in the day! ;)

The number of people in the park was minuscule in the 70's compared to now. I spent a night there in the summer of 1975 and there were empty spaces in the campground. I was shooting a Pentax Spotmatic by then.
