Mt. Pilchuck is the easiest access mountain to my home near Everett WA. For many years my friends and I did "dusk patrols" - after work runs up in the spring, skiing down with the sunset. Sadly they gate the 6 mile road to the trailhead now in the winter and don't open it again until all the snow melts off it, so we miss the best part of the season unless we have the time and energy to walk/bike the road.
