Have you got ice on that lake already too? Looks a bit on the brisk side with clear skies and nothing appears to be melting. Definitely has a winter feel to it.

Hi Alan, we are really in for snow and very cold weather for the next few days, in fact we won't see the sun until Sunday. The high temp yesterday was 30 degrees and the over night low was 19 degrees. Brrr..
I will post an iPhone image shot from my front porch this morning showing the 1-2 inches (?) of snow that was forecast. Now they are saying maybe 5 to 10 more inches of snow between now and Sunday! Does not look like I will be going anywhere soon!

Wow, this is early for this kind of weather. But then I don't live in Colorado.

Thanks Jameel, this is unusual for us this time of year. We sometime get snow (heavy and wet) this time of year, but not the extreme cold1.

Hi Jim, I think the ice is a little too thin for ice skating just yet!
We are expecting another 5 to 10 inches of snow on Friday through Saturday, clearing on Sunday! A good time to get snow images. They may get more in Colorado Springs (they are about 1000 ft higher than Denver) and that would make shooting in the GOG great.
