Again, thte predominant blue color is coming straight out of the scope. I tried doing a bit of color manipulation to get the the red/magenta on the top of the nebula (but I'm not that great in color swapping in PS). I'm wondering if the nebula filter is the cause for the weird color and I need to reimage without the filter to confirm. Anyway, I'n impressed by the images being produced by the Celestron Origin so far. Thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!

A very nice rendition, and interestingly, at least from my own images and what I see on Astrobin, it would seem like having the blue (OIII) signal along the upper edges and the red signal (Hα) signal along the lower edges as you show in your flipped color version is what I see most often for this target. Since I shot mine using a mono camera and narrowband filters I have to think that orientation is representative of the nebula. So as you are guessing, perhaps it is the filter you are using that is causing the shift? It would be interesting to try it without the filter and see what you get.

In any case though, an excellent image with lots of nice details and nice colors!
