Few recent shots as way of introduction

Welcome! It's great to have you here.
How did you like using the Star tracker? I like the idea of them, you certainly can nail the shots of the Milky Way with all the detail in them. I just got the Sigma 14mm f1.8 to use at night. While it can't shoot at the super low ISO's a tracker can, it allows me to shoot the stars in the ISO 800 to 1600 range, which will be huge.
I liked your painted desert shot the most. At first glance I thought it was the Badlands in SD which I finally got to go shoot last summer.
And your Barn shot is good, and one that Barry will be drooling over when he see's as he has a weird love of barns going on....

Very nice work, Mike! I particularly like the mood and color contrasts in the Painted Hills shot, and I always love a good barn shot!

Star tracker a bit tricky to line up properly with Polaris, but Youtube and an App for the iPhone really helped. May use it for the eclipse on Monday. I will be in the totality zone!!Hey Mike,

I love the stormy skies behind the Painted Hills image. Afternoon light there can be quite harsh but this rendition works for my eyes.
