Fuchsia

I took this photo with a wonderful old manual focus Tamron lens, adapted to my DSLR. Ufortunately, it has a stuck aperture which somewhat limits its usefulness. But when it's good, it's very good!

This is one of my favorite images.

The lens does have a pleasing bokeh. What F/stop are you stuck with on this lens? Seems to be pretty low for the shallow DoF.

At the time, the aperture was stuck at f/2.8. I knew that I had worked on it and just checked it -- it appears to work properly now. I should try it again, but I get spoiled by autofocus.

I really like that you are making use of a lens that due to it's issue kind of has limited usefullness. That's super cool.

And very nice work on this Fuchsia. That's one of my favorite flowers.

And I like the other one you added. Love that shallow DOF.
