Granite and Limber Pine Details

I got carried away looking for scenes of granite, lichen, and old limber pines up the Wallowas (SE Oregon). Here are a few images from deliberately scouring near my campsite.

Well seen - I love the competing and complimentary lines in these images and especially #2. The twisted deadwood in these shots is delightful.

You found some really cool specimens. #2 is my favorite followed by #1.

Thank you all for the feedback and comments. Photo #2 was the one I liked the least from the set, but you all are changing my mind. Almost thought about leaving it unedited in favor of the others.
