A trip to the grocery store included a brief stop at the flower display near the door for some sunflowers. The pots were rather intrusive and the plant density was on the sparse side so I got a bit extreme on isolating the desired blooms in this case.

Thanks - the universe needed the death star approach with the backdrop for this one

Thanks Jim - yeah Michael nailed it in this case. I tried to see what I could do given the backdrop but came up short enough to just grab the brush and go for Paint it Black (apologies to Mick Jagger).

Thanks Jameel - I might have been able to get away with what I did on the Salvage Saturday example but decided this did work for this set of blooms and left it at black.

Thanks Kevin - with the black centers to the blooms a matching backdrop seemed to work quite well.
