Thanks Alan; the feeling being in middle of the field where all theses balloons are being blown up and taking off is really unbelievable, like giant multicolored mushrooms piping up in every direction at the same time and then taking off. I will try to post more in a few days showing ground shots and the color immersion you feel!Amazing shape and color show. I never cease to be amazed at what people put up in the air at this event. Great captures.
Thanks for the comments Jameel, appreciated. That first one is pretty colorful and stands out against the blue skies. The second one is pretty creative.
Thanks Jon for the comments. I will try to put some ground shots up on Monday or Tuesday.Very sharp and colourful, looking forward to seeing some more.
You are welcome and I had a ton of fun shooting the festival. You should have a trip down there on your photo bucket list! Thanks for posting this Larry! I really like both of these.
I wasn't thinking of what the feeling would be like to be in the middle of all of those balloons, but now that you mentioned it would probably feel so cool and maybe even a bit overwhelming as a photographer trying to decide what and how to capture it.
I had plans to go to see the Balloons there finally last year. But the weather was an issue with either thunderstorms or severe winds. I think all but 2 days got cancelled at the last minute due to weather. Maybe this year!![]()
