It's hard to argue that point about Instagram. I have seen it in action.

That's too bad for sure. At least it can still be photographed from the cliff. But the way they are talking, there is no guarantee of that either.

Real Photographers(TM) can always carry a telephoto lens. Instagrammers will have a much harder time with being distant from the prop to their conceited portraits.

That's true Alan, but some of the best angles are from below when you are able to photograph from the riverbank. But, you are right, we can shoot it from up at top, but not with a telephoto, with a wide angle.
