Sweet sight for the end of January. I love the cluster at the top but the isolated bloom steals the show with the water droplets on the closeup.

Snowdrops are such awesome flowers! So different looking. I like both images, but you did really good with #2.

That must make it tough with mowing the lawn if #2 is in the middle of it!

Wow, is spring already here? We are quite a ways away from a sight like this here. The isolated one with water drops is my favorite.

Jameel our weather is very unpredictable. We had "Spring"flowers above ground at Christmas for the 2nd year in a row. Present temperature 50F and no frost for the next fortnight. However wind today is gusting to mid 50mph with 80+ in NW Scotland. This month we have had 2 storms with winds just below 100mph. Our weather is driven by the jet stream. It often flicks Northwards over Ireland and this can bring warm air up from the Sahara, with sand in the air and surprising temperatures. Last week 67F in NW Scotland, that is a warm Summer temp for there. Ken

Jim, my wife is the gardener. She has 3 areas where she planted snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils and tulips which come up throughout the Spring, apart from the tulips that all died when in bloom were hit by weeks of bitterly cold weather. In the summer these areas are not mown and she lets the clover and wild flowers grow to encourage insects. Ken
