Invasion of the clouds

I used a long exposure with an ND filter to smooth out the water and had an interesting effect on the clouds. Mono Lake morning from my archives

I like the satin sheen to the water with this long exposure. That does have a nice effect with the clouds as well.

My only visit to this place in 2015 was during a long dry spell and these tufa formations were high and dry. I need to revisit this place someday.

Thanks Alan. I was paying more attention to the water and how much I wanted the smooth affect. The clouds were a bonus.
