Jasper Lake

For once,I didn't need to hurry back to town & was able to go all the way up to Jasper Lake in Colorado's Indian Peaks. I greedily soaked up the perfect solitude and enjoyed the breeze that was just enough to keep the mosquitos at bay.

The perfect combination - a wonderful mountain lake scene, no people, and best of all no mosquitos. I like the satin waters.

The melted out rocks on the slope behind look like the Chinese characters on the garden art in our yard, I like how they lead into the single rock in the lake, like a zen garden.
