And echo it again here. What is the item at the end of the jetty? Almost looks like a sign mount post that lost the sign.

Can I echo what Alan echoed from Jameel who echoed from Barry? :)

What a really sweet shot Vieri. I really like the vignetting whether it was there or applied in processing, it really works so well.

Classic, minimalist, b&w. Nicely done!
Echo what Barry said

How beautiful! Such wonderful starkness.
Another echo... Love the details in the foreground and the structure at the end ties it all together.
Great image and awesome vignette applied.
Perfect, from composition to post-processing.
Thank you very much everyone, glad you enjoyed it! :) I guess this is actually called a Groyne, not a jetty (I have been corrected on another forum), and I have no idea what the signpost at the end is doing - perhaps tide control (?), or something like that?

About the vignette, I didn't correct the lens' own vignette, and added some darkening in the sky in post as well, glad you guys enjoyed it.

Best regards,

Vieri

Echo!

NB. There are Groynes all the way round the UK coast. Most are marked with these signs - which could be to mark the position of the structure (often made of stones in a mesh) at high and flood tides. o_O

Ditto, with exclamation marks. It's a journey into infinity!
Thank you Monika, glad you enjoyed the journey! :)
