You are right - these are much more interesting patterns than what you got nuking olde CD's.

Never really considered the notion of being an aficionado for the artistic results of microwaving different types of digital storage media before now

Good work on these - yes, more interesting than your first attempt (which wasn't bad - nice colors). Strangely compelling type of photography I normally wouldn't pursue, but quite enjoyed.

Thank you. I agree , not something to presue. At least for me, But I did enjoy trying something new! I also like trying different things that help me understand lighting, this one was a good one. So many angles , so many flavors of light!
