I'm not so sure it would get rid of cockroaches, though!

Jim, I don't know how many feet off the deck we were, but it got nice & warm. Too warm for the other photographer who was getting motion sick and too warm for the heli which had to get moved to a less active, cooler spot a couple of times. It depends on the wind - it was choppy enough that the pilot had a hard time staying really still. The other time (a couple of years ago), the pilot was able to hold pretty darn steady (but we didn't have the surface breaks we did this time - more heat rising, and the consequences of that).
