M81 - Bodes Galaxy

So the clear nights have come to an end but not before I managed to grab some data on M82 albeit under almost a full moon. I’ve very much enjoyed ignoring the job I was supposed to be doing which is investigating the tilt in my rig and instead photographing some wonderful galaxies!

Feels good to be back under the stars

I also added my M82 & M82 from this week to an old widefield shot.

Nice work on these wonderful targets. As someone who can sometimes obsess about technical issues with gear I have I continue to discover that it often can be the right answer to get out and image instead. Sometimes you find out that technical issue you thought was going to mess up all your images is really not that big a deal after all when taking actual data.

These look great for sure.
