From a few years back in the Eastern Sierra by the Devils Postpile is a super cool waterfall.

Those falls look like a hard target for bright sunshine like this. Nice looking scene and you handled the range of light well.

This is a place I would like to visit sometime. Without smoke.

Thanks Alan, the key is exposing for the highlights and not letting them blow. Also, while this was lit with sun it was evenly lit, it was partly lit or a spotty sunlit area.
