This was our last day in Cornwall. We were packing up to return to our friend's house in Devon and decided to visit one last coastal location despite the terrible weather, low scudding clouds, intermittent heavy rain and a very brisk wind. The day before I had got a little too close to a breaking wave and had got wet with the wave breaking over my wellies so it was trainers on my feet. The tide was just about perfect, high and falling and the aforementioned wind was whipping up some waves . I did expect to get wet as I was jumping onto the rocks as the waves rushed in and then shooting the backwash but I did manage to stay dry. Thankfully the rocks were very sticky due to the crustacea and, apart from the rain, I manged to stay dry. Ken

I had visited 3 days earlier but the tide was out revealing a 6 mile wide beach several hundred yds deep. The cliffs however were wonderful. Difficult to get a scale but my maps tell me that they are 150ft high and very unstable

Ken, I am always pleasantly surprised by your seaside photos, full of rocks sticking out of the sea with nice colors. Too bad this sea is so far from me, I would be there every week and always something new!

I love the atmospherics of these shots - my favorite kind of weather for shooting along rocky coastlines. Those cliffs at low tide are amazing and the colors in the last image are delightful.

That's great you went down for one last go at the coast. These are really great. It's good you stayed dry, I always go with the mindset that I am going to get wet up to my knees, so when I don't it's a pleasant surprise.

That coast line reminds me of quite a bit of Big Sur and it's coast line at lower tides. #3 I think is my favorite. I like the images of the cliffs #4 is so cool. I bet @Douglas Sherman would be interested in seeing that.
