These are some really cool looking gulls. I'm not sure I have ever seen one of these along the coast although their range during the winter goes as far south as Mexico according to my bird books.

Hi Alan, Yes, at first because of their feeding style I thought they were terns. A real Birder came along and correctly Identified them to me. I am not sure I have seen them before either.
