The Lake is about 10,600 ft and is the gate way to Mt Evan over 14, 280 ft. (now called Mt Blue Sky, to reflect the Native American name).

Now that's a lake I haven't heard of Larry! So this is a new one to me. I like that lake, it looks pretty cool.

Hi Jim this lake I just south of the entrance to the road to Blue Sky Peak (formally Mt Evans). There is the Echo Lake Lodge (not open for the past few years) and parking lot there, and Echo lake is just south of the lodge. If you have ever been up vie Idaho Springs to Mt Evans you probably drove past Echo lake just before you got the turn off to the Mt Evans road.
