Mustang vs Camaro

I started college in a '66 Mustang, poppy red, 289, 4-speed. Looking back on it all now I wouldn't have an old Mustang OR Camaro. Compared to today's cars they were mostly junk. Sure the Shelby's were special as was the first Z-28 (remember they only had a little "302" emblem on the fender, a good friend had one - he had to carry spare push rods with him as they were always bending!) but the garden variety versions were boring. You can take all that nostalgia about those cars and stick it in the garbage can. I find it interesting that many of the people who own them today are younger than their car.

Mike, thanks for posting this image.

I'm totally a GM Camaro guy. Only good mustang was the Boss 302. The one on the right is the exact one my older brother Dana had, except his was a hardtop. Then he wrecked it! Then my freind Dave had a 1969 Z-28 we would go drinking in, until we drove into a pool one night..
