Overload Evening

I am still trying to catch up from all the amazing color shows I got over the last couple of weeks and this one is from late August. A 70mm panorama from a sunset that kept going for so long I had to bring my drone down and put in a fresh battery to get this shot so well over 1/2 hour worth of deep color. Four panels at 70mm.

Quite a color show. I like the reflection of the colors in the water on the ground. Good choice to keep the rest of the ground dark.

Thanks Jameel - this was getting pretty late in the light and quite close to darkness down at ground level. I had long gone past where the drone was complaining about obstacle avoidance sensors going offline due to no remaining ambient light so adding light to the ground layer would be digital art. I was amazed the colors kept going at this point. By FAA regs I should have stuck my strobe on top of the drone before sending it back up after the battery swap.

Thanks Jim - using the 70mm lens does narrow the field of view to the part of the horizon with the most color so tends to offer deeper colors than what you would see using the 24mm lens.
