The first image is Castle Menzies, Glen Lyon, Perthshire, a 16thC castle recently restored. The rest are situated around Loch Tummel in Perthshire. They were probably built as family homes but they may just have been shooting lodges. I think that they are now Hotels although I am not sure, they are certainly out of my price bracket if they are hotels. Ken
Castle Menzies
This is a close up view of the above, Scottish Baronial style with "pepper pot" towers. Looking closely this may be shut for the season so it may be still a shooting lodge for a very wealthy person.
This is built in the Italianate style with a square tower.
A mixture of styles with 1 "pepper pot" tower and 1 "French" style rectangular tower.
