A few cell phone shots, more to show from my dslr camera, once i get home and process but heres a taste of what i saw. I was completely over whelmed here. Every 10 steps, something new to image.

FYI, I used a ai tool to remove people as these sites were crowded

Very cool - it's a pretty amazing place to wander around in for sure. The Nabateans had a serious penchant for carving up sandstone.

I'm jealous you got to visit with a digital camera. The first year I worked there I only had 4 rolls of film for the summer. I easily could have shot 100.

I can't imagine being limited to a few rolls of film, bet you made every shot count

I certainly did! It wasn't like I wasn't shooting images as I took lots of them every day as part of recording our excavation work but not with my own camera and film. I also had the advantage that I went back to Petra twice after that first year and took more rolls each field season.

Hey Ed, what a fun place. I like what you are showing here and look forward to your images from your camera when you get back home.
