That's one of my more favorite flowers Larry! I really enjoy the way the tips are dipped in red. It's quite the beautiful design.

Thanks Jim it is also one of my favorites. Hudson Garden south of Denver Had over 150 different varieties of Dahlias, but suffered a Japanese beattle infestation a couple of years ago and lost their whole dahlia plot and have not replanted the plot. I miss those beautiful flowers and am very sorry I did not capture more while they were available, who knew they would disappear so abruptly.
