Repeating Arches

Neat patterns no matter the orientation - good eye for this one. Works well as a B&W too.
Thanks! The color version is pleasing and more peaceful, but the BW I find more striking.

I had a good laugh while editing it as I zoomed in and realized just how many geese were hiding in the picture.

LOL - I didn't even notice them until you just mentioned it and I went back to see the images at 100% :)

Hey Alex, This is a great. I really like these repeating arches. And once you mentioned the geese, for me they add a bit of humor to the image. Like these birds are just sitting there oblivious the grandeur of the arches around them. I like this in B&W as it really allows the eyes to focus on the shapes.

And the mirror image is cool too. Minus the birds not being affected by gravity :) , it could very easily be how it was taken.

The homer is a little better in color to be honest. It's easier to spot the geese up in the rafters, though they are still visible in BW.

Yes, I think if I had a tripod to smoothen the water out completely, and then removed any obvious geese, it would be really hard to tell which way is up.

Yep, I agree. And I also think the more I look at it, that I prefer it upside down. :)
